Awards, Announcements / April 21, 2015

IT Lab is recognised as one of the world’s top providers of managed IT services.

Best Managed Service

IT is now vital for countless businesses. In terms of both security and operations, businesses need to feel confident that their IT systems are in safe hands.

That’s why we're  extremely proud to have been named as one of the top IT service providers in Europe and – in fact – the world in the MSPmentor 501.

MSPmentor 501: The Results

Each year MSPmentor runs a survey. It charts the rise and fall of the world’s IT managed services providers. The results are a snapshot of the industry’s top 501 performers – a distinguished global list of the best in the business. This year’s results have just been published.

For 2015 IT Lab Ranks:

  • 3rd in Europe/EMEA (5th in 2014, 8th in 2013)
  • 16th in the world (27th in 2014, 41st in 2013)

In 2014, IT Lab ranked 27th in the world and 5th in Europe and for 2013, IT Lab was 41st in the world, 8th in Europe and 6th in the UK.

To arrive at the results, the survey measures a variety of metrics including average revenue per employee, number of devices managed and business growth rate. Our ranking is improving year-on-year, which hints at our progressive approach to recruitment, emerging technologies and flawless customer service.

“We work in one of the world’s fastest-moving industries. To make sure our clients keep up, we are obsessive about employing the very best account managers, engineers and IT strategists,” says IT Lab CEO Peter Sweetbaum. "With a proactive approach to the changing technology landscape, we look to stay at the top of this list for years to come."

More Businesses Seeking External IT Support?

This year the top MSPmentor 501 companies recorded higher recurring revenues than ever before. Combined, the total annual recurring revenue reached a record $3.95 billion in 2014. That’s an increase of 26.5% year-over-year.

It shows that as IT becomes increasingly business-critical, more organisations are opting to cut costs and gain a competitive advantage by outsourcing their IT requirements to experts – whether it be software procurement, IT roadmapping, on-demand support or any other of the multitude of functions offered by modern MSPs.
