IT Lab Driving Ahead with Key Management Hires

As a growing organisation, we are very proud to announce a number of key hires at IT Lab.

This signals our intent to build on our recent growth which placed us on the Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 and number 28th in the Megabuyte 50 2016. These key hires follow the equity investment made by leading private equity firm ECI Partners in June 2016 and the appointment of Allan Wood as Chairman last year.

Joining CEO, Peter Sweetbaum 

• Geoff Kneen joins as Group Chief Operating Officer, formerly Managing Director of Capita and prior to that Atkins plc
• Brendan Lynch joins as Commercial Director, formerly Sales & Marketing Director at Azzurri Communications and Director Business & Partner Markets, Virgin Media Business.
• Jenny Coe joins as People and Talent Director to help accelerate IT Lab’s growth following investment from ECI nine months ago.
• Allan Wood, Chairman of IT Lab, was previously Managing Director of Druid Plc, a provider of ERP and CRM consulting services and Xansa Plc, an outsourcer of business processing and IT solutions. Since then he has worked with private equity in nine Chairman positions including IT managed services company Trustmarque and public sector services company Liberata.

Joining from Capita plc and previously as MD at Atkins, Geoff Kneen brings experience in operating at scale and his appointment will support IT Lab’s continued growth. Brendan Lynch has joined the ranks, bringing more than 20 years’ experience having managed sales and marketing teams across the UK, Europe and India. Most recently, he was part of the executive team who completed the turnaround and sale of Azzurri Communications. Jenny Coe joins from CK Hutchison Holdings and prior to that was HR Director, Insurance Sector for Xchanging plc.
