IT Lab's Role in Manchester Business Community Grows

For over twenty years, we've helped Manchester businesses with their technology. We also enjoy a long-standing relationship with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC), having supported the Chamber's own IT needs.

Today, we're delighted to announce a strengthening of this relationship with our new status as the GMCC's Technology Services Patron.

"Our patronship allows us to engage with more local business leaders and support their success," said Jonathan Broadley, IT Lab's Head of Marketing. "We span every facet of IT and understand the profound impact good – and not so good – IT systems and practices can have on their businesses.

"Our Navigate – Integrate – Operate approach is designed to assist our clients through all key stages of technology adoption, whatever their sector. We take care to listen and understand not just what tech, solutions or services they want, but what they want to achieve.

"We're busily planning a schedule for the Chamber's Action for Business events and its magazine - The Business. This will address topics that we know are of pressing concern for most businesses, such as the GDPR and cybersecurity."

Stella Bowdell, Director of Membership at Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce added: “I’m delighted that we're developing the relationship with IT Lab to extend to our members. We have worked with the team for several years and see first-hand their dedication to customer service. It’s in the interest of our members to partner with a first-class IT organisation; increasing cyber threats and new legislation makes it vital to provide information and services to help members protect their businesses. We’re looking forward to working closely with IT Lab to do this.”

Peter Sweetbaum, IT Lab’s CEO said: “The north of England is firmly rooted in IT Lab’s history. As well as our London and international locations, our 100-strong Manchester team works 24/7 to support local businesses and their offices overseas. Through our long-standing partnership with the GMCC, we have implemented a future-proof, scalable IT platform to support their growth. Becoming a patron feels like a natural progression of this trusted relationship. We're honoured to play a valuable role in this proud and special place.”
